Karelia: different destinations and final addresses

For a Karelia transfer, specify the final destination: Petrozavodsk, Sortavala, another town, a hotel or a particular holiday resort. The region is large, so 'Karelia' alone is insufficient for a quotation. Send an address or map point and describe the final access road.

The trip starts at an agreed address in Saint Petersburg. Pickup of several passengers at different points, an intermediate address and stops can be discussed. A private transfer is a vehicle booking for your own group, rather than individual seats on a scheduled coach.

To a hotel, holiday resort or country house

Provide the accommodation's name and the actual pickup address, rather than only the central office or booking address. If the main access ends at a gate, involves a dirt road, has vehicle restrictions or requires a special meeting point, clarify this before agreeing the vehicle.

A leisure trip often involves more luggage than a normal city journey: suitcases, a pushchair, sports bags or bulky equipment. List these separately. We determine whether they can be carried and which vehicle is suitable based on the actual load; a passenger minivan does not imply access over any off-road terrain.

If some passengers get off earlier while others continue, include every point in your request. An additional stop changes the programme and is taken into account when agreeing the price.

How a Karelia transfer is priced

There is no single fixed price for all of Karelia. A quote requires the precise final address, vehicle class, stops and dispatch conditions. Business and VIP are quoted individually; the city hourly rate cannot automatically be applied to an intercity journey.

Published fares include a Saint Petersburg–Sortavala Comfort transfer at RUB 21,000 for the vehicle journey, including pickup. This fare applies to that destination, rather than every resort and settlement in Karelia. We agree a separate price for another address.

Parking and toll roads are charged separately at actual cost. Return travel to Saint Petersburg, waiting and journeys to multiple addresses are discussed before booking confirmation.

Outbound, return or a multi-day itinerary

A single transfer ends at the agreed point. If you need to return on another day, provide the date, place and time for the return pickup. Vehicle availability and dispatch terms outside Saint Petersburg are confirmed separately.

For several journeys around Karelia, provide a day-by-day programme: where the group stays, which addresses it visits and when it plans to return. This combination of waiting and travel requires a separate quote and is not equivalent to a single-transfer price.

In Comfort, the white Vito W447 and black Volkswagen Caravelle Long T5 each seat 8 passengers; the grey Vito seats 7. Business V-Class seats 6, and VIP with captain’s chairs seats 5. State suitcase numbers and sizes: spare passenger seats do not automatically mean any volume of luggage will fit.
