The Russian vehicle operates the Russian leg. We confirm the exact drop-off point in Ivangorod and how to keep in touch before departure. This does not imply that the same vehicle crosses the border or takes you directly to Narva.

Onward to Tallinn: independent border crossing and pickup in Narva

The Saint Petersburg–Tallinn route has two driving sections. FiniTrans first takes you to Ivangorod. You then cross the border independently. On the Estonian side, partners meet you by the border in Narva and drive you to Tallinn.

Before travelling, agree the Russian leg, a contact after crossing, the Narva meeting point and final Tallinn address. Tell us whether you need a hotel, private address, airport or ferry terminal: the onward destination affects arrangements for the partner-operated leg.

We do not guarantee border crossing times in advance. If you have a flight, ferry or meeting after Tallinn, give departure details when discussing the route. Confirmation of a road journey does not guarantee a border crossing time.

You take your belongings with you on the independent section. Consider how you will carry suitcases, hand luggage and a pushchair. It is important to give both sides the passenger count and luggage volume when arranging travel.

From Ivangorod to Saint Petersburg

We also operate in the reverse direction. From Tallinn, partners take you to Narva; after you cross the border independently, FiniTrans provides the Russian section from Ivangorod.

Provide the planned date, passenger details and final address in Saint Petersburg in advance. The meeting time and communication procedure for delays must be agreed with the dispatcher. Do not treat arrival time in Narva as a confirmed boarding time for the Russian vehicle.

If your final destination is Pulkovo, a railway station or an address outside Saint Petersburg, say so immediately. We confirm the price, pickup and return booking terms against your full plan.

How to get a price for Ivangorod

We do not publish a fixed price for Ivangorod. A quote requires the pickup address, final destination, date, passenger count, luggage and required stops. Comfort, Business and VIP are arranged to suit your group.

Distance-based Comfort trips use the selected band’s rate for the entire agreed distance plus a one-off RUB 1,500 dispatch fee. Confirm distance and the suitable format with the dispatcher: the city minimum of 3 + 1 hours does not automatically apply to this regional trip.

Business and VIP mileage journeys and transfers are quoted on request. Parking and toll roads are charged separately at actual cost. Discuss onward travel from Narva to Tallinn and the partners' terms separately.

Which minivan suits your group?

We use our own vehicles and bring in additional minivans when needed. Photographs show examples rather than a complete list of available vehicles. The exact model and specification are confirmed when making arrangements.

In Comfort, the white Vito W447 and black Volkswagen Caravelle Long T5 each seat 8 passengers; the grey Vito seats 7. Business V-Class seats 6, and VIP with captain’s chairs seats 5. State suitcase numbers and sizes: spare passenger seats do not automatically mean any volume of luggage will fit.

What to tell the dispatcher before travelling

• Pickup and destination addresses: Ivangorod only or onward to Tallinn.
• Date, passengers and the luggage you will carry across yourself.
• Stops along the way and flight details if pickup is at Pulkovo.
• A contact for approaching the drop-off point and after crossing the border.
• The return route, onward service or other time commitments.
