This policy covers finitrans.ru and enquiries about FiniTrans transport services. It describes quotation preparation, booking arrangements, passenger contact and organisation of the agreed journey.
2. Information needed for the journey
An enquiry may use your name, telephone number, email address, pickup and destination addresses, date, passenger count and necessary route details. The information depends on the enquiry and booking. Passport details and health information are not requested for an initial website quote.
If a customer provides another passenger’s contact details, they must have a valid basis for sharing that information and tell the passenger how it will be used.
3. Drafting a description and using messengers
The route description is prepared in the browser page’s memory. The “Prepare enquiry” button does not send an order to the dispatcher. Information from this helper is not saved by the website to a customer database.
When you open Telegram or WhatsApp, the prepared text is passed to the selected service as a draft. You can review and edit it before sending it in the chat. The MAX link opens the dispatcher’s profile; you can copy and paste the text yourself.
Once you switch to a messenger, that service’s rules also apply. You can choose telephone or email instead. Do not include documents or excessive information about yourself or others in the preliminary description.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Enquiry data is used to respond to your request, calculate the price, prepare and perform a contract at the customer's initiative, arrange the journey and fulfil legal obligations. The legal basis depends on the specific processing under Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ.
When consent is required for a particular purpose, it is obtained separately and must allow the person’s agreement to be verified. Browsing the website, preparing text and opening a link do not themselves replace such consent. This policy is not consent to advertising mailings.
5. Sharing contact details with drivers
To carry out the agreed journey, the passenger's name and telephone number are sent through a messenger to both drivers: the driver on the Russian leg and the driver meeting the passenger at the border in Narva. These details are needed for pickup, contact and trip arrangements; only the information required for the booking is shared.
Before data is transferred, the recipient, legal basis, purpose and scope must be determined. If a particular arrangement includes transfer to a foreign recipient, Article 12 of Law No. 152-FZ applies, including a separate notification. The Narva recipient’s legal status and applicable terms must be confirmed before this version goes live; using a messenger does not itself determine that status.
6. Technical information and analytics
When the website is accessed, the server receives technical request details: IP address, page address, browser information and access time. These are necessary to deliver pages and operate the service. Route text is not included in analytics events.
Third-party analytics are disabled on the test version of the public website. There is no visitor registration, mailing-list subscription or website payment. Before analytics are enabled on the live domain, their settings, legal bases for processing, visitor choice procedure and the corresponding policy wording will be defined.
7. Retention and protection
Information is processed only to the extent and for the period required for the stated purposes, contract and applicable law. Once the purpose is achieved, processing ends and information is deleted or anonymised unless another lawful retention basis exists.
Access is granted to people who need the information to handle the enquiry or journey. The operator arranges necessary protection and does not publish private correspondence or passengers' contact details.
8. Requests and rights
To correct information, request processing details, withdraw consent or request correction, cessation of processing or deletion, write to info@finitrans.ruIn your request, identify the journey or correspondence concerned. The operator may request information needed to verify the applicant's identity. Requests are considered under the procedures and time limits established by law.
Withdrawing consent does not end processing supported by an independent lawful basis. Details of separate consent are provided on the page “Personal data processing”.
