Finnish company Finforel is investing USD 80 million in building a trout facility. Construction is planned for completion by the end of 2019. Average trout production will be 5,000 tonnes per year. Since fish imports are prohibited by the embargo, Finnish entrepreneurs have decided to farm it here.
