You can enter Finland with a tourist visa 15.10.2022 16:10Citizens of the Russian Federation may still enter Finland on tourist visas to transit to countries outside the Schengen Area and in the reverse direction.
This clarification was provided by the Finnish Border Guard and the Finnish consulate. It is not yet clear how it will work, and there is a risk that the Finns may annul your visa if they are not satisfied with the documents you provide. Also bear in mind that you cannot stay in Finland: departure for your final destination must be no later than the following morning.
An important point: to make this trip in transit through Finland, you must present a clear travel plan to Finnish border guards. Carry airline tickets, accommodation bookings, a visa for your destination country, and so on. The more supporting documents you gather, the better for you.
