Plan shopping and transport together

  • An address list helps avoid unnecessary journeys.
  • Large purchases may require different transport.
  • Check export and import rules with the customs authorities yourself.

Shopping centres and sightseeing in Lappeenranta

The original route included city shopping, the IsoKristiina and Galleria shopping centres, then a walk to the fortress and harbour. We retain that choice: you can devote the day to shops or leave some time for the city. Check the exact shops in each centre before travelling.

Not all chains are in one walkable district. For several stops, write down each shop’s address and estimate shopping time and the volume of goods for the return. A seasonal sandcastle or fortress museum is a separate visit rather than a guaranteed part of a transport booking.

Final destination and return journey

The harbour and fortress, hotel, shops and Lappeenranta Airport are separate destinations. Choose your main purpose and list additional addresses in order. For shopping, specify the particular branch of a chain; for a flight, use a separate airport route.
