Arrive in Sortavala without a luggage transfer
If you need a taxi from Saint Petersburg to Sortavala for a family or small group, a minivan keeps everyone together from the first pickup to the final address. Tell us where to collect your party and whether the destination is in town, at a hotel or outside the city.
The journey from Saint Petersburg to Sortavala follows the northern Ladoga direction. We plan departure around your addresses, travel date and required arrival time. If you have a check-in, activity or boat departure afterwards, tell us in advance so we can allow a sensible margin.
Leave the city behind. Bring your plans along.
Along Ladoga
Stops that suit your party
Include breaks for children, a meal stop or an intermediate address before departure. Stops involving a detour or extended waiting change the itinerary and are taken into account in the quote.
Sortavala
Arrive at your own destination
Along with the hotel name, send the entrance location. If your final destination is out-of-town accommodation, a pier or an onward journey towards Ruskeala, give the exact location: the city route fare does not automatically cover additional legs.
To your address
Your plans may continue beyond Sortavala
In town
A hotel, home or business meeting
For a city transfer, we agree an accessible drop-off point. List multiple addresses in visiting order and tell us about gates, access passes or other entry arrangements.
Outside the city
Holiday accommodation or a lakeside address
Send a map pin and describe the final approach. We choose a passenger minivan to suit the actual road and load, so difficult unpaved sections, narrow access or seasonal restrictions need discussing beforehand.
Further into Karelia
Ruskeala and other planned stops
These stops can be included in a private itinerary from Saint Petersburg, with a quote for the complete journey. A transfer to a pier does not include a boat journey, and a transfer to a park does not include admission or a guided tour.

Questions before you travel
How much is a private minivan from St Petersburg to Sortavala?
The current Comfort route fare is shown in the price section on this page. It covers a private vehicle for your party and includes pickup. Business and VIP are calculated using the agreed distance; extra addresses, parking and tolls are discussed separately.
Can we travel directly to Ruskeala or a holiday lodge?
Yes, that destination can be included in an itinerary from Saint Petersburg. Send the exact address and plan. It is a different final destination, so the Sortavala fare does not automatically apply to the onward journey.
Do you sell individual seats to Sortavala?
This page offers a private minivan booking for your own party, rather than individual seats on a shared scheduled service.
Can we bring a pushchair, a child and a dog?
Yes, please discuss your party and belongings in advance. Child seats for all ages and pet transport are available at no extra charge. Tell us the children’s ages, seats required and the sizes of the pushchair, luggage and pet so we can confirm suitable placement.
Does the fare include the return journey?
No. The published fare covers one transfer. The return journey, waiting and additional transfers are agreed and quoted separately for your itinerary.
