Walking and driving are separate parts of the day
- Decide your visit's purpose and required addresses in advance.
- Allow for crossing independently with your luggage.
- If continuing to Tallinn, arrange pickup by partners near the border in Narva.
Narva shops and an independent walk
For shopping in Narva, consider Fama and Astri shopping centres; Fama has a Rimi hypermarket. If you are interested in Maxima or another chain, name the specific branch: shops in different parts of town are not one stop.
Shopping can be planned separately from a walk by Narva Castle and the waterfront. Before arranging transport, decide your main purpose, how much luggage you will have on return and where the group will meet. Onward travel in Estonia is arranged separately with partners; the Russian vehicle does not cross the border with passengers.
A walk around Narva
For an independent walk, consider the riverside promenade, Town Hall Square or Narva Castle. These are different stops: decide in advance whether you want a riverside walk, city architecture or a museum visit. The official tourism website can help verify attractions and make your own list.
Do not fill the whole day with stops without time for crossing, travel and rest. A museum visit and an outdoor walk need different preparation; check schedules and tickets with the chosen venue. If you need Tallinn or another Estonian destination after Narva, discuss onward transport separately with partners.
