What you can discuss with FiniTrans
- The journey from Saint Petersburg to Ivangorod.
- A journey to Tallinn with an independent border crossing and Estonian partners.
- Meeting points and arrangements for the return Russian section.
Travel to the border and eligibility to cross it
An enquiry about “leaving Russia” can mean different things: reaching a border checkpoint, continuing abroad or arranging a return. For a transport plan, the two endpoint addresses and required dates are enough. An individual’s right to exit and enter is determined separately from vehicle availability.
On a trip to Ivangorod, the Russian leg does not include carrying the passenger across the border in the same vehicle. Onward travel in Narva and Tallinn is arranged with partners and an independent crossing. Travel there and immediate return cannot be offered as a way to change a migration deadline or obtain a required stamp.
Document checks before departure
Requirements depend on the country, citizenship and purpose of travel. Contact official authorities and consular services for current information. Booking transport does not confirm entry rights or replace checking your personal circumstances.
Documents and the Russian transport leg
To contact the carrier, simply describe the journey required: pickup location, destination, whether a return Russian leg is needed and how much luggage you have. If Ivangorod is the final destination, agree where the journey ends. The passenger arranges any onward border crossing independently.
Booking a vehicle does not confirm a right to enter, exit or change a permitted stay. These questions concern documents and decisions by the relevant authorities. Do not buy a trip for a promised border outcome: establish your grounds first, then arrange transport. Passport details and document copies are not required in the route form.
