Bus to Finland: choosing how to travel

A large scheduled coach, shared minibus and private minivan differ in boarding arrangements and route planning.

First establish the journey's purpose

  • For an individual ticket, the current timetable and carrier's rules matter.
  • Discuss a private minivan and all addresses for your group.
  • Do not use the old page as confirmation that a service exists.

Bus ticket or transport for your own group

For a single ticket, the specific carrier, bus station, final stop and baggage rules matter. If you travel as a family or with colleagues, consider a private chauffeured minivan. It is matched to your group, rather than a seat sold on a large bus.

For airports and ferries, compare the final stop with your required terminal in advance: a city service may require an onward connection. Check the departure point for the return journey too. Neither an old bus announcement nor a time in an earlier table currently confirms a service.

Final destination and return journey

We need the full address in Finland, rather than just the country name. State the destination city, intermediate stops and return plan. If you are travelling to a flight, give the airport and flight separately: address-to-address transfers and airport journeys require different planning.
