Shared minibus to Finland: travel status

A shared journey and a private minivan serve different needs.

Services to Finland are suspended until the border reopens

What to clarify before booking a shared journey

  • Whether a shared service will be available on your date.
  • The planned pickup and drop-off points.
  • Whether your luggage is accepted and which stops are included.

Shared departure: seats, pickup and luggage

Before services were suspended, passengers searched for seats in shared vehicles as well as destinations. For a future service, clarify whether pickup is from addresses or one meeting point, where passengers are dropped off in Finland and how return travel works. A shared vehicle may stop for other passengers.

When comparing a private minivan, consider the whole group: seats required, suitcases and the importance of your own stop sequence. A single-seat price and whole-vehicle hire price serve different needs. Shared-service availability will be confirmed after the route resumes.

Final destination and return journey

We need the full address in Finland, rather than just the country name. State the destination city, intermediate stops and return plan. If you are travelling to a flight, give the airport and flight separately: address-to-address transfers and airport journeys require different planning.
