Helsinki Airport: terminal, departures and arrivals
Helsinki Airport / Helsinki-Vantaa serves the capital region and is located in Vantaa. Passengers have used a single terminal since June 2022. Old pages may mention T1 and T2: for a new journey, use Finavia's current map, your flight details and the relevant departures or arrivals area.
Before a flight, check your airline's check-in and baggage-drop rules. For an arrival pickup, the relevant time is not just when the aircraft lands but when the passenger exits with their luggage. The vehicle pickup point and driver's contact details are discussed separately from landmarks inside the terminal.
Terminal pickup
Finavia identifies a separate short-stay parking area in front of the terminal for drivers meeting passengers. Agree the pickup point and means of contact in advance: the arrivals exit and vehicle waiting area may differ. Check the current airport layout.
Final destination and return journey
In your enquiry, specify Helsinki Airport / Helsinki-Vantaa, the date and flight number. For departures, distinguish the aircraft departure time from your preferred terminal arrival time. For arrival pickup, passenger contact, luggage and the pickup point are agreed in advance.
