Shared minibus to Helsinki Airport: what to clarify

A shared vehicle for a flight requires a confirmed timetable and a clear drop-off point.

Services to Finland are suspended until the border reopens

Shared transfer and your airline ticket

  • Confirm the transport's actual departure date.
  • Check that the planned arrival time suits your flight.
  • Do not treat old publications as confirmation of a seat or time.

A seat on an airport transfer

For a shared airport departure, an available seat alone is not enough. It must suit the passenger’s flight, pickup point and agreed luggage. Provide your flight first, then ask whether a suitable shared departure is possible once services resume.

Arrival pickup is planned around the flight and when the group emerges with its luggage. Old references to Terminal 2 and an unchanging evening meeting time are outdated: Helsinki Airport has one terminal, and the meeting point follows its current layout. Private whole-vehicle bookings are considered separately.

Final destination and return journey

In your enquiry, specify Helsinki Airport / Helsinki-Vantaa, the date and flight number. For departures, distinguish the aircraft departure time from your preferred terminal arrival time. For arrival pickup, passenger contact, luggage and the pickup point are agreed in advance.
