We have a corgi, and as you can imagine, a 1.10 m long dog with short legs is not very easy to transport. We ruled out a bus straight away and looked specifically for a private transfer that would let the dog travel in the cabin. We did have a carrier, though 'carrier' hardly describes it: it was an enormous suitcase taking up lots of space. We only managed to book with you on our third attempt, and are very glad we did. I would like to thank manager Valentina and driver Leonid for their prompt responses, helpful information and assistance. We are travelling back from Helsinki to Saint Petersburg in March; please tell us how many days in advance we should book. Thank you in advance. If you have a large dog to take to Finland, contact these people: they will help and suggest alternatives.

Friends strongly recommended you to me. I have now taken three different tours with your company, in different vehicles with different drivers. So I feel fully entitled to draw some conclusions: the buses are always clean, roadworthy and comfortable, with comfortable seats; the wonderful professional drivers handle them as skilfully and masterfully as Spivakov wields his conductor’s baton… You can doze all the way to the border without any worries. All the tours are well planned, with no mix-ups. Even the passengers seem handpicked. I wondered how the dispatcher manages that over the phone! Admittedly, there was one difficult woman on one trip. Some people are never happy with anything, but you can only feel sympathy for them. I did feel sorry for the driver: eight lives behind him, and one bad apple who would not settle down. The other passengers had to explain that this was shared transport. People like that should travel in their own car, where everything can be as they want it. Thank you for your good work! What can I say about the company? Their prices are 70 percent higher than other companies. For RUB 1,800 you expect at least some comfort (the city average is RUB 1,000); otherwise, the higher prices are unjustified compared with other companies providing similar services. The seats in the minibus do not recline at all, not a millimetre. It is a good thing my husband and I chose a two-hour trip to Finland with this company; after a whole day my back would probably give out. So if you leave the city early, be aware that you definitely will not be able to sleep in this minibus. And yes, the RUB 1,000 minibus is surprisingly comfortable (the backrests recline). In short, if, like us, you assume a higher price means greater comfort, you will be disappointed! We probably will not use this company again. Reply: Ekaterina, thank you for your review. Yes, you can indeed take a shopping trip until evening for RUB 1,200 from Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station on a large coach, where you can of course sleep... They cannot offer short tours... Many thanks to the FiniTrans team for excellent service! We booked a transfer to Vantaa Airport on 2 January with driver Stanislav and back on 8 January with driver Mikhail. Despite poor weather, everything ran exactly on time. They drive carefully and efficiently. We had never crossed the border as quickly as we did with Mikhail. The drivers are polite and attentive. The minibuses are clean and the seats comfortable. Our return flight was delayed; we easily reached dispatcher Valentina on WhatsApp, and the transfer waited for us.
